TEZUKA OSAMU "KIRIHITO'S SONG IN PRAISE"

TEZUKA Osamu is the greatest COMICS-WRITER in Japan. It was surely by him that comics got
citizenship in Japanese cultures. So he is now called "God of Comics".
He was born in Osaka,1928, and studied Medicine in college. But he began to draw comics for
children in the confusions after The War. He showed many children and young people dreams, bravery,
pleasure. Unfortunately he was gone to another world in 1989.
"KIRIHITO'S SONG IN PRAISE" was written in the first half of 1970s, when young people had
revolted against the established authorities all over the world. It is certain that the Hero"KIRIHITO"
was named after "Christ". KIRIHITO, who is a young doctor in the modern hospital of the
university-M, cannot get along well with his boss, doctor TATSUGAURA. Because they are rivals
in the opinions of a strange desease "monmou". TATSUGAURA was scheming to became president
of The Japan Medical Asociation. KIRIHITO is now a nuisance for him, so he banished KIRIHITO to
the villege, where the "monmou" frequently occurred. From then, his life is like a thorny road.
Ultimately he revenged TATSUGAURA, and re-started as doctor to do services for the poor but good
people in a far country.
