STEP 1

Attach a hook in the vise and tie in the tube body as shown in the picture.

Tie in two feathers of C. D. C. as for a wing.

STEP 2

STEP 3

Provide a dubbing on the thread to make a thorax.

STEP 4

Wraps a thread every few turns for thorax in front of and behind of the wing.

STEP 5

Wraps a thread to make a head at behind of hook eye then tie up by whip finish or half hitch.

STEP 6

Cut off a thread once for next step of under hackling.

STEP 7

Reposition the hook in the vise then attach a thread again as shown in the picture.

STEP 8

Tie in the cock neck hackle to make the legs.

STEP 9

Three warps the cock neck hackle in clockwise toward the abdomen then tie up the hackle just beneath of thorax..

STEP 10

Tie up in the head by half hitch.

STEP 11

Cut off the hackle and thread.

STEP 12

Reposition the hook and finish!
